what’s hotter than smashing your face against a paved road in Florida at high noon
after running a marathon?
this wedding! ;)
we will explain as we go on. – jonathan

matching bridesmaid rings.. adorable. -tif

so i was kinda nervous with this wedding.
taking pictures of another photographer can be scary.
I imagined Jon scrutinizing my every move on the wedding day.
i imagined him saying, “just give me the camera, I’ll do it the right way”.
On the contrary though. Jon rocked!
Although next i imagine he will go through the photos
with a fine tooth comb looking for all of our flaws :) – jonathan

let’s talk about the hot hot hot.
their wedding day was a high temperature awareness day, or something like that.
the city was opening up cooling shelters for the public if that says anything. – jonathan

KILLER SUITS! these were some awesome suits that they bought instead of renting!
Sorry rental industry. these guys definitely made the right move. – jonathan
everyone was laughing at Michelle
when she had to use both sides of the card to write what she needed to say.
the best part was that when she got jon’s card it was just as lengthy. -tif

hot #1
A old school church with no air conditioning.
the basement of the church held the only minor relief in sight.- jonathan

i love this jon! -tif

Hot #2
yeah…. that’s the temp inside the church.
the program/fans was some smart thinking, – jonathan

Hot #3
Taking pictures in close to 100 degree temps
after dropping 10 pounds of water weight inside the church,
was only comforted by the fact that we’d soon be in the air conditioned reception. – jonathan

yeh hat’s off to you guys for tramping around in full wedding garb. -tif

don’t remember who took this one but i dig it. – jonathan

Hot #4
Jon gets a call.
“what?! the air conditioning broke in the reception hall?!”- jonathan

Hot #5
The reception.
Walking up three flights of stairs to a windowless room
with no ventilation and over a hundred people is a feeling i can’t quite describe.
it just hit you like a brick wall when you got in. – Jonathan

the heat seriously didn’t affect these guys at all.
When I was editing, i almost forgot about how hot it was. they had an amazing time. -tif

umm… i wish i was this cool to be able to do a choreographed dance routine for my wife.
these guys learned this whole dance in just a day or two! – jonathan
i think it’s probably best you don’t dance. -tif

oh.. so close! -tif

but a groomsman ended up with the bouquet. -tif

Hot #6
Much like how i drove when i was 16.
that needle is buried! – jonathan

hot #7
The venue operators bought at least a dozen fans to cool things down.
it didn’t really do much.
Props to them for doing everything they could about it though. – jonathan

So why did i talk about all this heat?
Cause i saw something incredible happen through my sweat stung eyes.
when it felt like everyone was going to give up, and the night may be a wash,
Jon and Michelle’s friends rallied together.
a groomsman got up and announced that despite the choking heat
they were their to celebrate their friends wedding.
And that they did.
you two have some great friends. -jonathan
your wedding was one that we will remember for a long time.
check back later to see Jon and Michelle’s steamy cheesebox! -coopers

I have no critiques. I just thank the Lord. God provided His best photographers for our wedding, that is for sure. Michelle just came and woke me up with the biggest smile in her eyes, and on her face, with the news that our photos were up and that they brought tears to her eyes. Yep they brought tears to my eyes as well, and a big smile to my face. all I can say is thank you.
