meghan and mike are using the whole city of bridges thing for their wedding, that being said…
meghan really wanted some shots on the smithfield street bridge,
and I’m glad we got to shoot there.
I wasn’t sure they would have enough snow cleared to shoot, but the walkway was clear
and the weather was perfect (in the 40′s!)- tif

yeh. go ahead and ooogle this shot, the bus did it not me. -tif
did the bus just say love?!
that’s awesome!- jonathan
it may have said glove or hoove, but it looks like love to me! -tif

i’m so glad i’m not girl. i like wearing socks and not having to expose my ankles to 40 inches of snow!
that, and i like standing up to pee. to much info? – jonathan
yes, i’d say it was. -tif
beautiful shot tiff!
great choice of bridges meghan!
did you know that this was the third bridge in this location,
and this was the sight of the first bridge to ever cross a river in pittsburgh!- jonathan

i showed up a little early for the shoot to take a walk and found this sweet, cobble stone, ally. -tif
very nice!- jonathan

mike is a complete outdoors man, so we wanted to get out of the city for some fun nature-y kind of stuff.
it was my first time at washington’s landing and i’m really glad my phone has gps.
i would have passed this place right by. only in pittsburgh do we put nature trails under the bridges. -tif

mike brought a super warm hat, but it was so warm he barely needed it.
and i’m pretty sure meghan is cuter in it anyway -tif
you look amazing in that hat meghan!
can you wear a hat like that instead of a veil to a wedding?
i think so!- jonathan
how sweet is this?!
meghan loved this little walkway but the snow was up to our knees, and she was rocking some heels.
but mike being the gentleman he is, gave her a lift. -tif
it always makes me smile to know that chivalry is alive and well- jonathan

thanks meghan and mike, I can’t wait to see what you do with the bridges at the wedding! -tif

thanks Leeann, that’s one of the great things about shooting and bloging together, we can banter where everyone can see. -tif

Cute idea with the bridges, but I think my fave is the cobblestone street second shot! (Also, I love how you two “talk” in your blog posts :)

thanks Rivka! we do a lot of color enhancments in photoshop. Some of our shots are washed out naturaly with sun flairs. i never really thoght much about making them vintage. We just try and make them fun.

I love the Smithfield Street bridge, but my favorite is the 16th Street Bridge, right by my house. I plan on doing a shoot there soon. I just love Pittsburgh bridges for shoot locations.
