Lauren + dylan
September 23rd, 2009 - posted in: engagementsthe three fish.
it was almost impossible to get the three fish in the position
i wanted them in at the same time. they just kept moving in the slightest breeze
I’m pretty sure this picture is Lauren and Dylan laughing at me
for trying so hard to stop the fish from moving.- jonathan

lauren and dylan were awesome. they were really comfortable around the camera.
which always makes our job easier- jonathan

i think it was just off to the left of this shot where we found sleeping quarters
for someone less fortunate than us .
thank you jesus for allowing me a bed to sleep in. – jonathan

I cant look at this picture without remembering what strange beauty this place had- jonathan
-

ok I know they arn’t wedding shoes or anything,
but there cute.
and i love shoe shots! -tif

this place was amazing, i guess it used to be a fountain.
if it wasn’t dilapidated, it would’ve been beautiful. -tif
di·lap·i·dat·ed : decayed, deteriorated, or fallen into partial ruin
especially through neglect or misuse.
sometimes my wife’s spelling isn’t all that great i felt the need to spell check that word
turns out she was right!
i love you tiffany. even if i do have to spell check your typing ;)- jonathan
yeah, but you missed tme calling the shoes “hoes”,
i fixed that myself. -tif

hey look our camera case made it to the blog! i love our pelican soft cases.
its above and to the right of our watermark- jonathan

haha! i think this is my favorite shot. or at least one of them. i think i have a few.
nothing says i love you like a little toe romance.
hey now kids… save it for the honeymoon!- jonathan

lauren and dylan really wanted their shots to say
pittsburgh. the sky line had been done so many ways that you sigh when you hear it,
so, we skipped mt. washington and went to the strip.
if i ever leave the “burgh” the strip district will be the place i miss the most.-tiff
yes, i will most definitely miss enrico biscotti company if we had to leave pgh.
best macaroons ever!- jonathan

hot
and thats about all i have to say about that.- jonathan

do you remember the smell here?
we were shooting right next to a giant trash compactor or something
i’m cringing at the very remembrance of it :( -jonathan

this shot is so cute! i love her face. -tif

…and this is my favorite. -tif

Tiff! this shot is awesome! i love how we can to different perspectives of the same basic set up- jonathan
i snuck this picture in the blog after tiff went to bed.
i dont know why she didn’t include it. the city lights are just amazing! – jonathan

the loading docks of the strip- jonathan

haha… surprisingly, and i mean that, we dont argue about what to blog that often. she puts in her stuff. i put in mine. i think we actually trust each other. I have also been to busy to argue with tiff, and she is doing most of the photo business work, so i guess i shouldn’t argue. we have so much to learn yet about this whole blogging thing, as well as the business thing, and the photo thing.
thanks rich from nickelcitystudios.com
you two rock! thanks for the continued inspiration!

great shoot, guys :) I had to laugh about the “bag shot” – I can’t tell you how many times I frame up and then have to go move a bag. I’m a lot better about it now and just leave the bag on me, but I still forget from time to time. Tif – I really, really like the wider shot with the light (your favorite). So do you guys argue about what to put on the blog as much as we do??
